ccc; all externally involved parties to the current armed conflict.
The following set of recommendations is an attempt at a negotiated settlement, in the framework of a Minsk 3 cease-fire agreement, which will see Ukrainian troops conduct an orderly withdrawal of their artillery pieces from striking distance of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson & Crimea, in return for a Russian ceasefire upon the rest of the territory of Ukraine, until the new elections are held for Ukraine’s presidency and the Verkhovna Rada, by late 2023.
A little blunt as these terms may appear at a first glance, by now most observers outside of the Anglo-Saxon linguistic block, have realized all the diplomatic proposals for an actual settlement put forward by Ukraine since 2014, will allow NATO to set up nuclear intermediate missiles in breach of the new start treaties, as well as block Russia’s access to the Black Sea/Mediterranean.
Empathetic as the somewhat jingoistic & rather curious case study into international agit prop, in rally of support for Ukraine’s sovereignty & territorial integrity has been to witness, it is also becoming increasingly clear to most observers within the Anglo-Saxon block, only 60-70% of the world’s economy support the sanctions, which will mostly cripple Continental Europe itself.
With a survey of recent events within this theater, it is therefore about time to reconsider a negotiated settlement – but since the current leadership in Moscow & Kiev refuse to approach each-other with reasonable diplomatic demands, and since the Anglo-Saxon block does not appear to act as an honest broker in the interest of the Ukrainian people, the proposal is hereby put forward directly to the relatives of the armed services of Ukraine & the Russian Federation.
As stated in a previous commentary to the Maidan unrest in 2014, Ukraine is currently caught up in an internal civil war between 2-3 linguistic & ideological groups, played as pawns between the federal interests of Russia, the European Union & the United States of America, which include the geo-strategic concern of intermediate missile systems, and the Montreux Convention.
From a somewhat aloof, Scandinavian, but nevertheless Baltic Sea perspective, the interest of any state appears rather clear to this author; just as the United States are cultivating economic trade with all its wayward economies in the Americas, as well as across the Pacific & Atlantic Ocean, so is it in the interest of any other economy, to seek peaceful economic trade on all sides.
The directly involved parties in the armed forces of Ukraine & the Russian Federation, should therefore consider to immediately implement the proposal put forward in the first paragraph, as an actual negotiated framework for a temporary ceasefire - call it Banana Minsk if you will - which will last until actual diplomatic negotiations between the striving parties may begin to take place, after the upcoming elections to the presidency & Verkhovna Rada in Ukraine in 2023.
While the 2 splendid armed forces directly involved in this immaculate conflict, gradually implement this pragmatic settlement by means of the spectacular effects, their relatives in Tinsel-town & Potemkin-village may begin to prepare for the diversification of their economy, based upon the previously mentioned 5 democratic core principles, which emphasize public licitation.
. . .
The orderly withdrawal & settlement into the new strategic positions, required by the armed forces of Ukraine & the Russian Federation, in the framework of such a Minsk 3 agreement, shal be coordinated directly between the opposing field level commanders at the brigade & battalion level - with smaller more disorganized units requested to join an official military command structure, or leave the theater by bullet point of their armed forces respective military police - whereby confidence between the opposing forces in this particular theater may be established.
With the above ceasefire in place by autumn to this summer, the international community may begin to return internally & externally displaced refugees, to their actual place of residence, begin reconstruction on both sides, and prepare for a fair round of elections before end of 2023 – where-after actual diplomatic negotiations towards a more permanent settlement may begin.
As the keen reader may already have noticed, the above proposal does require some concessions to be made by the Russian Federation, by the current fractions within Ukraine, as well as by their more distant continental & transatlantic consultants in Kiev - but it appear to this author the only viable option for a negotiated settlement, upon which the directly involved parties may build future trade relations, upon which the mutual trade of the entire northern hemisphere may thrive.
The alternative is yet another century of proxy wars between NATO, the Russian Federation and CIS, supporting each their various client states in the tropical & sub-tropical equatorial belt, while the striving parties continue to put forward completely un-realistic demands – such as the current attempt to disregard the great dis-armaments of the 1980’s, or the Montreux Convention.
I prefer to reign in & train alongside these guys, in an orderly fashion, hold my fellow common man to the highest standard, and diversify every single economy 1 election and 1 license at a time, than continue to knock me neighbors scull-bone together, for the sake of a faint the winner takes it all preposition, while Lassalle’s teddy-bear go for a few more rounds of pump & dump.
Why don’t we settle for a ceremonial 2%, and a diversification of the entire level playing field?
We could use a little backup on the ready within the framework of UN’s peacekeeping forces,
while there will be plenty of room for wild-catters, once the garbage-man has left the scene.
In service of the strategic objective stated above;
