on the future secular state of israel/palestine.

when hamas initiated the recent armed intervention on the 7th of october,

I was busy with a review about old nordic superstition in our constitution -

and was left dumbstruck to bedridden by the immense idiocracy of hamas,

who killed innocent civilians, well-knowing the response would slay their own,

in an attempt to win the world’s affection, as the most petty baby seal in the hood.

the losses taken into consideration, and before israel plays into their folly ploy,

I can see no other outcome than a collaboration between israelis & palestinians,

to remove hamas, and all other warring fractions, against a peaceful co-existence.

as mentioned in 3 previous articles on the same subject matter by this author,

reasonable options for the current 2-state solution continues to dwindle away.

the main obstacles are obvious to most observers, but newbies may note;

israeli fractions continue to settle within the green line of 1967,

palestinian fractions continue with pre-meditated acts of terror,

and from a more pragmatic & geographic point of view,

in a territory only 400 km long, and 50 to 100 km wide;

one cannot expect 2 states with each their own armed forces -

why this author continues to advocate for a secular, one-state agreement,

which will see the 2 citizenry live amongst one another in belgian fashion.

most issues on any planet being geographic, national and a wee realistic,

the primary obstacles to such a new secular one state settlement remain;

collaboration among the 2 states to settle the above 3 obstacles.

if the 2 states can identify a substantial secular fraction among them,

the primary issues will be a common agreement on the legal principles,

a brand-new class of civil servants running such a state will have to abide with -

as the more sentient beings direct their attention to more everyday common issues.

. . .

folke bernadotte & all international casualties of the blue & green line since 1948 in memoriam,

I prefer to engage the above subject matter from very long distance - but you may give me a call.

current territory without courtesy from some google map search.

. . .

for a real peace initiative to move forward, both sides will have to recognize, among other issues;

a cadastral register, tying each land-plot to a specific owner, with a legally enforced mechanism,

a geographic distinction into parish, city, counties & state, with regular election & civil service,

providing its inhabitants with all the rights & duties most of us take for granted this time & age -

and obviously a currency reform, and a central bank, without a discriminatory discount window.

compensation for any unlawful expropriation down the line has to be a part of this equation,

but most urgently, a new class of secular civil servants on both sides will have to be identified,

so all citizens of such an israeli/palestinean state, may jiff about their own business, side by side.

if hamas thought they could take the gaza strip hostage, and play yet a baby seal to the world -

let israel/palestine come together and give them the exact opposite; a lasting pragmatic peace.

. . .

if I barf real loud at times, it is the overdose of garlic my neighbor fed me.
